Facebook Tips & Tricks

Hello Friends!

Today I’m wanting to share some Facebook marketing tips & tricks with you.

Facebook is a fun and entertaining forum on which people can share all the things that interest them with people that have similar interests and tastes.

This presents a unique opportunity for those of you who own your own business, sell for a living, are independent entrepreneurs or have started, or want to start, your own business.

Facebook presents the opportunity for you to reach a wide group of people who are already connected to you somehow. Every entrepreneur has a built-in potential client base in their Facebook friends.

While you don’t want your friends to think that you consider them more as business contacts than as actual friends, testing out your Facebook marketing skills on them and asking for feedback is acceptable.

Of course, it always helps to understand your target demographic. You want to decide what kinds of people you want to attract to your business. You can make your criteria as broad or as narrow as you like, but it does help to have a focused target.

Then, once you’d decided on a target, you can start thinking about what catches the attention of people in that demographic. Look at the profiles of your existing friends who fit your demographic. Look at the sorts of posts that they “like.”

You may even want to interview friends and ask them for ideas on how you can reach people in their demographic. This could give you some solid leads into a good Facebook marketing strategy.

If you’d like to go with an approach that’s a bit more formal, you could certainly create a fan page for your business on Facebook.  You can invite existing friends to become fans of your business.

They’ll be alerted to any information you post on the page. They’ll be kept abreast of all the latest news on your business, and anything else you choose to post on the page.

Taking this step establishes you as a solid business and shows that you are serious about Facebook marketing.

Finally, if you really want to build a loyal fanbase on Facebook, you might want to consider paid advertisements.  This is an incredible value and if you are currently advertising on Google using Adwords you owe it to yourself to explore the low cost per click options here.

Facebook marketing keeps track of people’s interests through their status updates, “likes,” and fan pages. If they think one of their members might be interested in the products and services that your business offers, then your ad will display on the side of every page they view on Facebook.

This widens your exposure and also makes sure that your ad is being shown to people who are already interested in your business industry.

I hope that you found this information informative and valuable.  If you did, Share the love!

Wishing you the best of success!
